SUMMARY:This role is responsible for providing day-to-day engineering support for manufacturing operations, as well as implementing yield, process and product improvements.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Process Management:1， Oversee the chemical silver plating process for DBC and AMB substrates, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company specifications.2， Develop and implement detailed process workflows for surface preparation, chemical plating, and post-treatment processes.3，Monitor and control plating parameters such as solution composition, temperature, and plating time to achieve optimalcoating thickness and uniformity.Quality Control:1，Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the quality and consistency of the silver plating. Address any defects or issues promptly.2，Utilize advanced analytical techniques (e.g., SEM, EDX) to evaluate the microstructure and composition of plated layers.3，Implement statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor process stability and capability.Technical Expertise:1，Utilize advanced chemical plating techniques to enhance the electrical and thermal conductivity of substrates.2，Implement best practices for surface preparation, including cleaning, etching, and activation of DBC and AMB substrates.3，Optimize the chemical silver plating process to minimize voids and improve adhesion, particularly for high-reliability applications.Safety Compliance:1，Ensure all plating operations comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.2，Manage the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals used in the plating process.Continuous Improvement:1，Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. Stay updated with the latest advancements in plating technologies and materials.2，Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive process optimization projects.QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.Technical Skills:1，Proficiency in chemical plating techniques, surface preparation, and post-treatment processes.2，Familiarity with plating equipment3，Strong understanding of process capability analysis and statistical process control (SPC).Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical silver plating, with a focus on DBC and AMB substrates.Six Sigma/ Shainin knowledgeLean experience8D Knowledge (root cause analysis, Ishikawa, 5 Why)Analytical Skills:1, Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
